Cedar Springs Ski Club – Member Code of Conduct

This policy applies to all Members and Guests. Members shall be responsible for the actions of their Guests.

  1. Abide by and uphold the Club’s Bylaws, Harassment Policy and Code of Conduct.
  2. Treat other Members and guests, as well as our suppliers, including tour operators, resort personnel and bus drivers fairly, equally and with respect and courtesy.
  3. A member’s behaviour at club events, day trips and extended trips reflects our club. Members are required to abide by local laws, our club code of conduct, policies and by-laws and policies of transportation providers, resorts and other partners.
  4. Refrain from promoting my products or services within the Club and not post commercial offers or promotions on the Club’s social media sites.
  5. Members are responsible for paying any fines or fees associated with cancellation of day trip or extended trips.
  6. Each member assumes full responsibility for any damages they may cause while participating in a club event/trip. Each member is responsible for the safety and security of their own health and belongings.
  7.  Refrain from Unacceptable Behaviour or Harassment of other Members and Guests.

For extended trip participants:
If any damage is caused by a Member participating on a CSSC Extended trip, the cost of repair will be charged to the Member and may be required to be paid before checking out of the accommodation for that Charter Trip.  The appointed Trip Leader has the right to remove trip participants from the extended trip if they do not abide by the Code of Conduct. All costs associated with the removal will be the trip participant’s responsibility.

The Board of Directors at any time may approach Members for discussion regarding any violation of conduct.  As well, the Director in charge of a Club trip, an appointee or any Board Member may, at their discretion, deal with any violation of conduct by a Member participating in a club trip.
